Jan Bockelmann

Jan has over 15 years of experience in debt capital markets. He joins volofin from Erste Group Bank AG, where he worked as Executive Director originating and structuring aviation debt financings since joining the firm in 2010. Leveraging his strong technical and structuring skills, Jan successfully executed transactions backed by the full spectrum of commercial aviation asset types. An integral member of the team, Jan combined detailed fundamental credit approach with a thorough understanding of the requirements of investors and borrowers to develop a number of innovative financing solutions. Prior to joining Erste Group’s Aerospace Finance team, Jan held analytical and portfolio management roles in the structured finance markets at Bankgesellschaft Berlin AG, Fitch Ratings and Erste Group. Jan holds a Masters of Science degree from the University of Birmingham.
